We two, you and me, fit like hand in glove, suit like green on the grass, apt below and above. Like willow on water, like feathers and song, we meld as one and together belong. We two, so disparate, so reverse and so strange – like foreigners out of their land, gone away. Yet we stand, you and me, troupe of two, band of us; much more than alone, made the better, shored by trust. The two, me and you, each the finishing part; counterpoise, balance be and together one heart.
