{"product_id":"aha","title":"Aha","description":"\u003cp\u003eoriginal painting\u003cbr\u003eacrylic on stretched canvas \u003cbr\u003e102 x 102 cm \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAha came from another of my paintings, \u003ca title=\"The Surprise of Sideways\" href=\"https:\/\/www.janedonaldsonartgallery.com\/collections\/recently-sold\/products\/the-surprise-of-sideways-1\"\u003eThe Surprise of Sideways\u003c\/a\u003e and so shares the same story.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003ethere are some things\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003elong sat \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ein the pull apart, put together again pile\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ethey wait for repair - \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ea dot of glue, a patch, a salve, a stitch\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eand so they come \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ewith that which wants repairing \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eto the one who knows what mends\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003esurprisingly, they say of the experience when asked\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ethat there was no work lamp or bench, or tools\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eonly a garden with soil and seeds\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eand a request\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eto tilt the head sideways \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eand eye closely the things in need of repair\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eshe sprinkled soil in one ear\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003efilling it full up and planting seeds\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003epatting them firmly to be sure\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eand then came the instruction -\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ewith each washing give some water\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ewith each day let in sun\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ewith each dream will the wander\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ewith each song sing it sung\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eunsurprisingly, they say of the experience when asked\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ethat soil feels strange in ears at first\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ethat what grew was beautiful\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003eand that a tilted head and a sideways sight\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003emakes everything look new again\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4 class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWould you like to hear me tell the story of The Surprise of Sideways?
